Talkspace’s three unlimited texting subscriptions begin at this pricing. Unlike the most affordable plan, which only allows you to communicate with your therapist through an app, the other two options enable you to book live sessions.

It costs $52 a week for messaging therapy:

The cost of four monthly sessions of Messaging Therapy plus one is $79 each week.

Depending on your location, the availability of therapists, and the frequency of your payment plan, Talkspace’s prices vary. Discounts are available for subscriptions of three or six months duration. A psychiatric program for medication management is available via Talkspace, as is counseling for couples and teenagers. The psychiatry program allows doctors to administer medication, but they cannot prescribe restricted medicines like Adderall and Xanax to patients. Employers and institutions around the nation have partnered with the app, which takes certain types of insurance.

BetterHelp

The cost of therapy at BetterHelp ranges from $60 to $90 a week, with payments due every month. Because not all therapists are authorized to operate in every state, the cost varies by area and therapists’ availability, just as on other platforms. Each week, one live chat, phone call, or video conference is included in the cost.

Many insurance companies do not cover BetterHelp, or physicians on the site can’t prescribe medicine. Counseling options for couples and teenagers are available via two partner sites that the app may link you to.

Cerebral

For the first month of therapy, Cerebral gives a discount, and it also advertises that it is HSA and FSA-eligible. Plan costs may be seen here.

An initial consultation fee of $30 per month is followed by an ongoing monthly cost of $85. You will be paired with a prescriber who will assist you in managing and prescribing medicines. It also includes monthly consultations with a counselor to help you on your journey. Your care counselor may or not have a license to practice therapy.

$99 for the first month, followed by $259 every month. However, this does not include drug management, which is covered separately.

It will cost $139 for the first month and $325 to get medication and therapy. If you need medication management and weekly treatment, this plan is the best option.

Cerebral also takes several different types of insurance.

Your health insurance plan may cover therapist appointments. Find out whether your health insurance plan covers mental health treatment by contacting your provider. Many therapists also offer sliding scale payment alternatives. Look into local mental health facilities.
